So I put one of these together tonight (from several parts boxes) that works and retrofit the harness to work on a pre ’95 motor. My question is, when you go to start the motor, does the box allow for a slight advancement of the throttle to get the motor to kick over?
Or is it a situation where when you try to throttle up, the neutral switch turns on and kills off the ignition.
The regular boxes have the provision to advance throttle slightly while in neutral, but I’m not seeing anything like that for a binnacle box.
