The skeg has been removed for more speed, or broken off – The boat in this picture was designed by my Dad, Built by the Meramec Valley Canoe Company, it was called the Meraco Darb. Later Fastwin models used the Speeditwin’s tiller to control the throttle. They were some of the first outboards to use roller bearings on the connecting rods. (Thats my Mom & Dad in the Darb.)
