    Hey guys, the little copper colored clip is known as a ‘continuity’ clip to make sure the electrical system in your mag works properly. Nothing else.

    On some sets of replacement points, including newer BRP parts, it may have to be installed from the top instead of from the side to ensure electrical continuity.
