Roger, you didn’t say how much the state was going to charge for the opportunity to provide you with this essential service.
Here in Michigan, as far back as I can remember all trailers were registered and plated. Plates had to be renewed each year at some minimal cost based on weight. Several years ago under a lovely lady Democrat governor she needed a quick boost to the state treasury to cover some immediate short fall. SOOooo- the modest yearly renewal fee was replaced with a $75 one time permanent license plate…. think burning the candle at both ends! I thought, “how long will this last” Now that we elected another Democrat lady last November I’m guessing that the permanent plates will be going By – By soon to be replaced with yearly fees.
