    Dave, that’s exactly what I did. I’m going to continue with the distributor setup tomorrow. Some specs have changed because I found out today that this is not a 1965 Merc 900 but a 1966 Merc 950!This gives me a .235 btdc for # 3 and I now have to do the points setup again, since the brown wire is point set #1 instead of the white wire that I had been incorrectly using for setup.
