    Jeff, so far I’ve heard that the TDC mark on the flywheel is for the #1 cyl. It would seem that I can just find this and mark my flywheel to get my reference back and align the dist gear arrow .Then I can set #3 cyl to .222 before it’s TDC for setting the distributor. I hope I’m not missing something, but I’m sure any problems with surface when I try this procedure.
