My powerhead on the Scott reads 3835. My apologies for the mixup. Several other parts do read 3845.

The part I want/need is 3835-2420, the whole lower exhaust housing, Frank.

Frank, seems what you are saying is that I may interchange between 7.5 and 10hp?

If that is the case, I wonder up to which year may be interchangeable,

I just found ONE, on another site. The part no. is 3745-2420, which is the lower housing that i need, its from a 1954 7.5hp.

Could a 1954 7.5hp lower exhaust housing be the perfect fit for my 10hp, 3835?
