About the filler plug leak, all the plugs I have seen have shrunk over the years and don’t fit the tank grommet very well. To get around this, I made new plugs for my 4423 and 4425 motors out of black Acetal (Delrin). They now fit snug with the spring retainer holding them in place and don’t leak anymore.
