I picked up some HD-20s a couple of years ago and I’ve built a couple of running ones from the parts. There’s still at least one in the left overs if I get bored. The pre-war HD was painted dull silver not polished. It looks original. If you run into parts that aren’t interchangeable between the 20 and 25 it shouldn’t be a problem getting parts there’s lots and lots around.
