Hondas are bad for the exhaust pipe under the block rotting out and filling the motor area full of fumes. When this happens, they wont run right with the hood on. Anyway, this happens to a friends Honda 7.5 so he drills a hole in the side of the hood and puts a piece of flexible vacuum cleaner hose from the carb to the hole for a fresh air intake. This worked great for a couple of years until I fixed it properly! 😆
