Thanks for posting my pix, I was confused when I couldn’t view them on preview. So I put her on the bench and noticed there was no spark plug, and the recoil was stuck. Also no sign of oil or dirt on the engine. The prop spun freely like an electric fan, so I guess there are no gears in the L/U. I shot the recoil with a little WD-40, installed a J6C, primed with fuel and she popped. Added fuel to the tank and ran it for 30 seconds and I smelled burnt paint. Put it in the tank and it runs OK and pumps water. Someone wired the motor to run off the mag lever at WOT. The carb linkage touches a switch button. I connected the alligator leads to a deep cell and got nothing. I’d like to ask the previous owner…Why? Can anyone speculate on that?
